Holiday Fruit Crisp



2 1/2 cups frozen cherry apple berry

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon ground ginger


2/3 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons flour

3 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup chopped pecans

Pinch of salt


  1. Lightly grease an 8x8 square baking dish with cooking spray. Preheat oven to 350°. 

  2. Add the cherry apple berry to a large mixing bowl and toss with lemon juice. Add the maple syrup, sugar, cornstarch, ground cinnamon and ground ginger and mix together well.

  3. Add the fruit mixture to the greased baking dish and bake for 30 minutes or until the fruit is soft and bubbling. 

  4. Mix all the topping ingredients together by hand until small crumbs start to form.  

  5. Remove the dish from the oven and stir the fruit. Top with the crumble mixture and bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool for 15 minutes before serving.
