Strawberry Jam


2 cups frozen strawberries

4 cups sugar

1 package dry pectin

3/4 cup water


  1. Take strawberries out of the freezer and let thaw for 15-20 minutes.

  2. Put strawberries into a food processor and pulse until chopped finely.

  3. Mix crushed strawberries with sugar and let stand for 10 minutes.

  4. Add water and pectin to a small saucepan and boil over medium-high heat for one minute.

  5. Stir the boiling water into the strawberries and let stand for 5 minutes prior to pouring into jars.

  6. Place tops on jars and let stand for 24 hours. Place in freezer and keep frozen until ready to use.
